About me

Sometimes we get to a point in our lives where the way we were doing things is no longer working, and something has to change. Do you feel like you're stuck in the same pattern but not sure how to change it? I strive to create a warm, trusting, and safe relationship for you to be able to express your authentic self, without fear of judgement. I believe that healing and change are possible given the right tools. I work through a psychodynamic and person-centered lens, where we can explore your past experiences to learn how they have shaped who you are today and determine where to go next to create a more sustainable and fulfilling life. I utilize Mindful Self-Compassion tools and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to support clients in creating lasting changes.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I'll answer any questions you may have and go over some logistics to make sure you feel prepared to move forward with therapy. Then, we'll get into what brings you to therapy now and I'll ask you some questions to get to know you more deeply. Lastly, we'll work on creating a plan of how we would like to move forward. I am very collaborative and believe it is important that you feel in control of your treatment and are able to make decisions that feel right for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is very warm and client-centered. I excel in creating an environment that feels safe to be your whole self, messy parts included. I create a non -judgmental space that you can come to without worry about having to show up in a certain way. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is where growth happens. I am also able to adapt the tools I offer depending on client needs.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have a great amount of experience and training working with clients with Eating Disorders/ Disordered Eating, Trauma, Depression, and Anxiety. My ideal client is ready for a change, knowing that it may feel uncomfortable or scary at times, but is necessary for growth.
