I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wisconsin, and a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) with 10+ years of experience working with individuals of various ages, backgrounds, behaviors, personality types, and disabilities. I have a good knowledge of career development and finding one’s career path. I have taught parenting workshops and counseled couples. I have fostered over 14 children and adopted 3 of them. I have taught and implemented a token economy reward system that helps parents avoid parenting traps and get kids to want to work. I served a two-year mission for my church, serving others and teaching them about Jesus Christ. If you desire a faith-based approach to therapy, I can provide that. I will meet you where you are with your faith journey or avoid it altogether. I enjoy working with people of all ages. I am fond of using, but not limited to, solution-focused counseling, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, rational-emotive behavioral counseling, and person-centered counseling.
