About me

My approach is rooted in warmth, collaboration, and cultural responsiveness. I am deeply committed to supporting adults from all backgrounds—including BIPOC and AAPI communities—ensuring you feel genuinely heard and respected. Combining clinical expertise - including my education at Columbia University - with real-world experience, I work collaboratively with you to cultivate resilience, restore balance, and improve self-esteem. My goal is to empower you to reconnect with your strengths and move forward with clarity and confidence.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The goal of our very first meeting is simple: to get to know you and understand your clinical needs. Here is what you can expect when we meet: A Safe, Low-Pressure Space: There is no "right" way to do this—you don't need your story fully figured out or neatly organized. Sharing Your Story: You will share what brings you to therapy right now and what has been weighing on you. I'll ask gentle questions to better understand your experiences and background. Mapping Your Needs: Together, we’ll look at your current challenges and explore what you hope to get out of our work, shaping a supportive path forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered. I view it as a shared journey where we work together as a team. My primary goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel genuinely heard, slow down, and explore what is happening beneath the surface at a pace that feels right for you. Here is what that looks like in practice: Meeting You Where You Are: You don't need to have your thoughts neatly organized or know how to explain everything. We will figure it out together. Focusing on Your Unique Context: Because no two people experience the world the same way, I tailor our work to fit your specific background, needs, and personal goals rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. Empowerment and Insight: Together, we will build practical coping tools, uncover patterns that might be keeping you stuck, and help you move toward a deeper sense of clarity and confidence. Ultimately, therapy is your time. My role is to walk right alongside you, offering guidance, reflection, and support every step of the way

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My experience includes working with adults who are navigating stress, anxiety, trauma, loneliness, depression, and life changes -- from career shifts to evolving relationships. Your background and lived experiences matter. My practice is grounded in a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach. I am deeply committed to supporting adults from all backgrounds, with a special focus on the BIPOC and AAPI communities. I believe that therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership. My goal in session is to make you feel heard, respected, and understood. I try to create a warm, empowering, and authentic space where you can slow down, unpack life’s challenges, and reconnect with your inner strengths. My goal is to help you cultivate resilience, restore balance, and improve self-esteem, so that you can move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
