I am a warm, steady therapist with more than twenty‑five years of experience helping adults move through trauma, chronic stress, and long‑standing patterns that keep them feeling stuck. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable and safe with me. My presence is calm, grounded, and unhurried, and I work in a way that helps people feel understood and accepted. I specialize in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a gentle, rapid and highly effective approach that helps the mind and body release what has been holding you back, such as childhood or workplace or sexual trauma, phobias, or grief you can't get over. Many people choose to work with me because they want meaningful change without spending years retelling painful stories. They want a therapist who is both deeply experienced and genuinely human, someone who can offer clarity, compassion, and a path forward that actually works. My style is warm, relational, and practical. I blend trauma‑informed care, ART, and integrative approaches to help clients feel lighter, clearer, and more like themselves again. I work especially well with high‑functioning adults who are tired of trying to manage everything alone and want a therapy experience that feels safe, effective, and truly supportive. People choose me because I bring a rare combination of clinical expertise, emotional steadiness, and a deeply respectful approach that honors your privacy, your pace, and your readiness for change. If you are looking for a therapist who can help you move forward in a way that feels grounded, efficient, and genuinely healing, you are in the right place.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is designed to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the moment we begin. Many people arrive feeling a mix of hope, uncertainty, and exhaustion, and it is completely normal to not know exactly where to start. My role is to guide the process in a way that feels natural and grounded, so you never feel rushed or pressured to share more than you want to. We begin by simply getting to know each other. I want to understand what has been weighing on you, what has brought you to therapy now, and what you hope will feel different in your life. You can share as much or as little as feels right. Some people talk easily, while others need time to warm up. Both are welcome. During this first meeting, I am listening closely not only to your words but also to the emotional landscape behind them. I want to understand what you have been carrying, how long you have been carrying it, and what it has cost you. I am also paying attention to your strengths, your resilience, and the ways you have managed to keep going even when things have been difficult. This helps me see the full picture of who you are, not just the parts that feel heavy. One of the most important parts of our first session is a question I ask every new client: If our work together is successful, how will you know? This question helps us get clear about your goals, your hopes, and the changes you want to experience. Some people know exactly what they want. Others only know what they are tired of feeling. Both are perfectly valid starting points. Your answer becomes a compass for our work, helping us stay focused on what matters most to you. We also complete an assessment together. This is not a test or a checklist you have to get right. It is a collaborative conversation that helps us understand your history, your symptoms, your patterns, and the context of your life. The assessment gives us a shared understanding of what you are dealing with and helps us plan a path forward that is tailored to your needs. Many clients tell me they appreciate this part of the process because it helps them feel seen in a more complete and compassionate way. It also ensures that we are not guessing about what might help you. Instead, we are building a thoughtful, intentional plan based on your unique experience. If you are interested in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, or if you came specifically for ART, we talk about that in our first session as well. I explain how ART works, what it c

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is that I am genuinely easy to talk to. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable with me quickly because I am relatable, warm, and human. I am not stuffy, distant, or overly clinical. I show up as a real person with deep respect for what you are carrying, and I create a space where you do not have to perform or explain yourself perfectly to be understood. I also bring more than twenty‑five years of experience working with adults navigating trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions. Over the years I have trained in a wide range of evidence‑based approaches, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy, trauma‑informed care, mindfulness‑based strategies, and integrative methods that support both emotional and physical wellbeing. This allows me to tailor therapy to your needs rather than forcing you into a rigid model. Clients choose me because I blend clinical expertise with a grounded, compassionate presence. I can help you make sense of what you are experiencing, but I can also help you actually feel better. My style is steady, practical, and deeply respectful of your pace, your privacy, and your readiness for change.
