I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that practices using a solution focused, trauma informed approach. My speciality includes EMDR, Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness approaches rooted in meditative practice to allow for a safe, and calming space. I have over 18 years of experience in the mental health field in which I apply to my practice with each tailored plan per client.
In our first session together, I allow you as the client to take the driver seat by providing your narrative in order to collaboratively create your tailored treatment plan to address your needs at this time. The initial intake session is a space for you to feel connected, calm and safe in order to discuss all of your needs and concerns. I want you to most importantly feel heard and your time valued in each session.
My work experience once lived within the halls of San Diego’s largest Emergency Room which has allowed me to think critically and develop a fast and effective treatment plan for all ages. I embrace each client with the same kindness, warmth and encouragement towards healing their future.
I have a women’s focus in treatment to include Postpartum Depression, Postpartum Anxiety and hormonal changes. I have a primary focus in intensive trauma treatment using two different methods in order to approach, manage and reduce overall anxiety and depression.
