Welcome- freedom and light await- Wherever you are, your journey starts now! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) that sees clients in California and Arizona. I received my Masters from San Diego State University. I have been working in mental health for the past 17 years and have been licensed for the past 8 years. I have clinical experience in a variety of settings and with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. We will collaborate together on goals and a plan to help alleviate your distress and make meaningful changes in your life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I will meet you exactly where you are in your therapeutic journey. I take into consideration your whole being- your biological, social, physical, and spiritual history- to personalize your treatment. I'll work with you to develop skills to relieve symptoms and resolve challenges.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I specialize in working with clients from all backgrounds addressing a wide range of conditions including anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy to ensure effective treatment.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been practicing CBT for over 17 years. This short term treatment approach will help you to see effective results quickly as we consider your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT coping skills will help to you find practical ways to increase your ability to practice mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

CPT is a very effective short term PTSD treatment model. We will work together to determine if this treatment might be effective for your trauma experience.

Christian Counseling

While I work with clients of all backgrounds, I am happy to offer specific Christian based therapy to those seeking it.
