I have spent the past 10 years supporting adults and caregivers as they navigate the profound challenges of chronic illness, cancer, and other life-altering diagnoses. As your therapist, my goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space where we can explore meaningful ways to create lasting change in your life. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, solution-focused, and mindfulness, I am here to help you process and navigate the complex emotions that often accompany these experiences. In addition to my clinical work, I am an adjunct social work professor, teaching courses on Grief, Loss, and Social Welfare, as well as Social Work in Organizations. I am also the author of Making It Mine, an interactive book that shares the stories of teens and young adults navigating a parent’s cancer diagnosis.

Brie was exactly who I was looking for to help me process losing my dad to cancer. She spent the first session listening to me share his/my entire story and already was able to give me tools to help me through the day.
