Hi! I am an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, practicing for 9 years. I received my Masters in Daemen College and Hunter College. This combination of medical and mental health training allows me to utilize my knowledge and skills in both specialties. I am well-versed in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating mental and emotional disorders in individuals, including those with dementia.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The initial consultation will center around you, the symptoms that brought you in, if anything seems to make them better or worse, and how they impact your life. Gathering a detailed history will be essential for making a treatment plan. After learning about you and your symptoms, we will discuss your options going forward. This may include the following: further evaluation, such as lab tests, starting or altering medication, getting recommendations for specific forms of counseling or therapy, coordinating with other health professionals, such as a primary care doctor or therapist.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I recognize the importance of empathy and compassion in my practice and I strive to put myself in my patients' shoes, understanding the emotions and challenges they face.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I support clients with ADD/ADHD, Anxiety and panic disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
