New to Grow
I aspire to help my clients develop deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. My work is strongly influenced by the idea that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. My ultimate hope is to help you learn how to navigate this experience in a way that feels best for you. Through time in the substance abuse field, I gained experience in trauma, mental health, life transitions & confusion of life, purpose, or self. I am knowledgeable in the marginalized experience and focus on mental health concerns & interpersonal relationship dynamics, including families/couples and impacts on the individual through a person-centered approach.
I understand that working with a new therapist, for the first time or even with past experience in therapy, can be daunting. It can feel uncomfortable and just plain scary. In a first session with me, you can expect a laid back vibe, that feels like a casual conversation, allowing me to get to know you as a person as well as gaining an understanding of your therapeutic goals.
I create a calm, safe space that allows clients to open up in their own time, creating room for my clients to learn and accept themself in ways that can often surprise them.
I work to help my clients develop a deeper sense of trust, acceptance, and love for themselves. I aspire to help my clients develop deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. I typically work with clients going through transitions in life, and have worked with populations including those experiencing addiction (self and loved ones), those experiencing anxiety, depression, other mood disorders, low self esteem, etc. My work is strongly influenced by the idea that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. My ultimate hope is to help you learn how to navigate this experience in a way that feels best for you.
