I'm a licensed therapist with nearly a decade of experience helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. I specialize in working with people who carry the weight of high-stress roles—like first responders—as well as anyone feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. My approach is compassionate and practical, blending evidence-based therapies with a deep respect for your lived experience. I believe healing is possible when we create space for your story, reconnect with your values, and move toward a life that feels more grounded and meaningful.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and create a space where you can feel heard and understood. I’ll ask some questions about your background, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to get out of our work together. This is also a chance for you to ask any questions you might have about therapy, the process, or how I work. Together, we’ll start identifying your goals and explore what healing and growth might look like for you. My aim is for you to leave feeling seen, supported, and with a clear sense of the next steps.
One of my greatest strengths is the genuine empathy I bring to therapy—I’ve been where many of my clients are, feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to turn. With nearly a decade of experience using powerful tools like EMDR, ACT, and polyvagal-informed therapy, I understand both the science and the real human experience behind healing. I combine evidence-based methods with a compassionate, down-to-earth approach that honors your unique story. Whether you’re dealing with trauma, chronic stress, or the demands of a high-pressure life, I’m here not just as a therapist, but as someone who truly gets it and wants to help you move from just surviving to truly thriving.
You might be the one who always holds it together—the calm in the storm, the helper, the dependable one. Maybe you’re used to showing up for others and pushing through, even when you’re exhausted or overwhelmed. But lately, something feels off. You’re running on empty, feeling stuck, or just not quite like yourself. Maybe you've experienced things you haven’t fully processed, or maybe you've just been in survival mode for so long that you don’t even remember what it feels like to breathe deeply and be. I work best with people who are ready to pause and take a deeper look—not because they're broken, but because they're human. If you're feeling the weight of unspoken stress, burnout, or past experiences that still linger, therapy can be a place to finally exhale. You don’t need to have it all figured out to start. You just need a willingness to be honest with yourself and a desire for something to shift. My clients are often the people who are ready to stop pushing everything down and start exploring what it means to live more fully. They may feel disconnected from their own needs, unsure how to slow down, or hesitant to be vulnerable—but they're also strong, insightful, and open to growth. Whether you’re navigating trauma, life transitions, chronic stress, or just a sense that life could feel more—more aligned, more grounded, more meaningful—I'm here to help you move forward with compassion and clarity. Together, we’ll work to help you reconnect with your values, understand your nervous system, and build a life that feels more like your own. This work isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it. And you don’t have to do it alone.
I use EMDR to help clients process distressing memories. This approach supports the brain’s natural healing process by using bilateral stimulation (like eye movements or tapping) to help "unstick" past experiences that are impacting the present. Many of my clients find that EMDR helps them move through trauma, grief, or anxiety in a way that feels both structured and empowering.
In my practice, I use ACT to help clients build a more meaningful life by focusing on what truly matters to them—even in the presence of pain or difficult emotions. Instead of trying to avoid or eliminate uncomfortable thoughts, we work together to accept them while taking committed steps toward your values. This approach blends mindfulness with action, helping clients feel more grounded, flexible, and aligned with who they want to be.
I use a polyvagal approach to help clients understand how their nervous system responds to stress, safety, and connection. Together, we explore how patterns like shutdown, anxiety, or hypervigilance are shaped by the body’s survival responses. Through gentle, body-based techniques and awareness practices, clients learn to regulate their nervous system, increase feelings of safety, and build a stronger sense of connection to themselves and others.
