I am a compassionate mental health therapist who works collaboratively with clients to create a supportive, respectful space for growth and healing. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, trauma-focused CBT, and solution-focused therapy to help individuals build practical coping skills, reconnect with their strengths, and work toward meaningful change. My goal is to help clients feel heard, empowered, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll listen to your concerns, answer any questions, and explain how I work. Together, we’ll start thinking about goals that feel meaningful to you, all at a pace that feels comfortable and safe.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is that it’s collaborative, practical, and strengths-based. I combine evidence-based methods like CBT, trauma-focused CBT, and solution-focused therapy to help clients understand their patterns, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. Clients often notice that they leave sessions feeling more empowered, with tools they can use in everyday life, and a clearer sense of control over their thoughts, emotions, and actions.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to work with clients who are seeking practical support and meaningful change, especially those experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma-related concerns, low mood, or feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns. I work well with individuals who are open to collaboration, self-reflection, and learning new skills to improve their emotional well-being. I am a good fit for clients who want a supportive, strengths-based approach and who value understanding how past experiences and present challenges are connected. Whether your goal is to build coping skills, process trauma at a safe pace, improve self-confidence, or create positive changes in your daily life, I strive to meet you where you are and support you in moving toward your goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a practical and collaborative approach to help clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Many of the challenges we face are influenced by patterns of thinking or habits that develop over time and throughout childhood. I utilized CBT to help bring awareness to those patterns in a supportive, non-judgmental way.

Feminist

I use a feminist approach in my work that recognizes how social, cultural, and systemic factors—such as gender roles, power dynamics, and lived experiences of oppression—can impact mental health and well-being. In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients to explore how external expectations, internalized beliefs, and societal messages may be influencing their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support individuals who have experienced trauma in understanding their reactions and developing a sense of safety and control. In my practice, I work at a pace that feels safe and respectful for each client. We begin by building coping skills to help manage stress, emotions, and trauma-related symptoms. As trust develops, I help clients gently explore how their experiences have impacted their thoughts and beliefs about themselves, others, and the world. Together, we work on reducing the power of trauma memories and replacing self-blame or fear with more balanced, compassionate understanding.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify their strengths and focus on meaningful, achievable changes rather than spending a lot of time on problems or past difficulties. In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients to clarify what they want to be different and what is already working in their lives. We focus on small, realistic steps that can lead to progress and build confidence. I often ask questions that help clients notice exceptions to problems, past successes, and moments when they felt more in control or hopeful.
