New to Grow
I have been in the mental health field for over two decades, working in the public sector, non-profits, and various types of facilities. My goal is to support people through life transitions and painful experiences, helping them rediscover themselves. My approach is collaborative and person-centered, meaning I will move at your pace, honoring your story, strengths, and lived experience. Everyone has a unique story to tell. It would be my honor to get to know you.
Expect to feel heard and understood. I intend to provide an authentic opportunity to get to know you, as every individual story and experience is unique. I want to start by simply hearing you out. I want to work together with you to find what works best for you. I intend to work together with you to make this happen.
I do not believe in confrontation, simply 'carefrontation'. My intent is to understand one's knowledge or insight into their current situation, with the aim of then identifying the skills and abilities to achieve an end-goal. As the saying goes, "Love is patient," I understand there is a level of patience needed to find what works. I am fully committed to finding what works for you.
I work best with people who are ready for a collaborative, respectful, and culturally aware space to heal and grow. I especially support adults who are: navigating anxiety, depression, or burnout; carrying the weight of trauma, grief, or family conflict; or feeling stuck at a life crossroads and wanting a clearer sense of direction and purpose. I’m well suited for clients who may feel torn between multiple identities (cultural, generational, professional, or relational), and who want a therapist who will honor their story, not judge it. I value working with people who are open to reflection and gentle challenge, even if they are still building trust or have had difficult experiences in therapy before; our pace is based on your comfort, not a timeline. My approach centers your lived experience, including culture, race, gender, language, spirituality, and family history, and I actively invite feedback to keep the work responsive and safe. Above all, I aim to offer a relationship where you feel deeply heard, given enough time, and treated with the utmost respect—as a whole person, not a condition.
