About me

I am someone who is deeply committed to guiding you on your journey toward developing essential therapeutic skills. My work focuses on fostering safe internal environments, cultivating self-compassion, nurturing caring relationships, and other crucial elements that support each individual's quest for an authentic self and full self-expression. I passionately believe in empowering you to harness your own intrinsic power, supporting you to become your own hero in your healing process.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session together would be dedicated to fostering a connection and getting to know you. It is important to me to collect information that will be helpful for me to know, as well as the goals you may have for yourself. I also find this to be the perfect opportunity to answer any questions that may arise, in addition to communicating clear expectations of therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I utilize a variety of evidence-based modalities to facilitate client-centered well-being. My therapeutic approach integrates techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In addition to these, I seamlessly incorporate mindfulness practices to create a truly integrative and comprehensive treatment experience. My academic foundation includes a Master's of Science in Psychology from Long Island University, where my graduate work focused on studies involving children and ambiguous figures. This early research inspired me to further pursue a Master's in Marital and Family Therapy at the University of San Diego, solidifying my expertise in family systems and relational dynamics.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I cherish the opportunity to meet you precisely where you are on your healing journey, offering a compassionate, trauma and attachment lens approach. I place significant value on establishing a genuine connection with each person I work with. I place significant value on establishing a genuine connection with each person I work with. I strive to understand the underlying motivations that drive the pursuit of greater health and well-being. Approaching from a place of sincere curiosity, I explore each individual’s unique strengths and the specific pain points from which they seek to heal and grow. I hold a firm belief in every person's capacity for change and their ability to integrate healthy, adaptive practices. Being DBT and CBT trained, I particularly enjoy empowering them to expand their personal "toolbox" as they acquire new skills for emotion regulation. I value honesty in a therapeutic approach and believe we heal in relationships, and that is exactly what therapy is about. I provide guidance and support on your goals and work collaboratively with you while focusing on your growth and strengths, and giving honest reflections.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I weave in Mindfulness as a practice when clients feel difficulty in their body while exploring and processing root cause ideology.
