I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in West Covina, CA. I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults in achieving their goals and overcoming life's challenges. I approach therapeutic interventions primarily through the lenses of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I work collaboratively with clients to develop goals for treatment. You are the expert of your own life, and you get to determine what you would like to gain from therapy.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, I would like to spend some time getting to know you, and understanding your desire to begin therapy. We will establish goals for treatment, and work together to develop a plan.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I like to take an eclectic approach to therapy. I am able to tailor my treatment modality and/or interventions depending on your individual needs.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I focus my practice on working primarily with young adults. There are a lot of major transitions during this period of life, and I enjoy helping others navigate those challenges. Many of the clients I serve experience adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and/or interpersonal conflict.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

By identifying and naming their values, clients can assess whether they are living in alignment with those values. I also incorporate mindfulness into ACT to help clients learn to release the judgment assigned to their thoughts.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I work with clients to identify distorted thought patterns, and challenge them in order to create desired behavior changes.
