Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first therapy session, clients can expect a warm and open conversation. I’ll focus on building rapport and creating a safe, non-judgmental space to discuss concerns. We’ll explore their background, current challenges, and goals for therapy. Clients are encouraged to ask questions and express any concerns they may have, as this collaborative process is essential for building a strong therapeutic relationship. By the end of the session, they should feel heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is key to meaningful change. My goal is to create a supportive, trusting space where you feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we’ll explore the underlying causes of your challenges, build on your strengths, and create a clear path toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

With CBT, this approach is a collaborative method that goes at the client's pace (readiness and comfort). It focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. It is very structured but handled with warmth and empathy.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

With ACT, it is an open structure that focuses on allowing uncomfortable thoughts/feelings without trying to avoid or control them. The goal is to accept, connect values, and take intentional action.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy truly goes at the client's pace while addressing the stages of grief with compassion.

Motivational Interviewing

We will use a gentle client-centered approach to explore and resolve uncertainty about change.
