New to Grow
I'm a genuine and compassionate licensed clinical mental health counselor, located in New Hampshire, on a mission to help you work through whatever stands in the way of having the life you want. If you're feeling anxious or depressed, if you're struggling in your relationships at home or at work, I can help. My work with couples is informed by Relational Life Therapy and Gottman Therapy models. My work with individuals aims to connect to the past in a way that informs current struggles or functioning, and inspires new ways of being that better serve current life circumstances and development.
The first session is geared toward learning more about you, your reasons for seeking therapy, hopes for the future and identifying the obstacles as you see them. This creates a framework for us to develop goals that will help to provide you the experiences you're looking for in your life.
I bring compassion, steady presence, objectivity and humor to our sessions. I am very good at making connections from material that is presented, allowing for deeper, more meaningful insight that guides positive and sustainable change.
My ideal client is highly motivated to sort through what isn't working to find new, exciting experiences ahead. Busy professionals, overwhelmed parents, and those desperately wanting to improve their relationships without knowing how have done very well working with me. Therapy with me creates a safe space where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life. It would be a privilege to support and empower you in that journey.
Couples Counseling
I help clients understand cycles of conflict and disconnection and help to teach them methods of repair to promote healthy connection.
Psychodynamic
I help clients understand the underpinnings of current struggles as they are typically rooted in childhood experiences and behaviors that no longer serve us as adults. I help them to update their relational and emotional software to function in the present as the capable adult that they are.
