Life’s demands can feel suffocating, especially when you’re juggling responsibilities, systemic oppression, and societal expectations –not to mention the chaos in the world. I’m Albania, a licensed Bilingual Latina, trauma-informed therapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), with over a decade experience in the mental health field, helping women over 30 find balance and reclaim their lives. Together we create a path to gain the skills you need to rewire your patterns and heal your nervous system. No fixing here. This is slow, sacred, body-led process. In our 1:1 work together you will learn: -To regulate your nervous system and experience more safety in your body -How to break patterns of chronic stress or trauma, so you can operate from your capacity, while gently expand it -Create healthy boundaries, while still having healthy relationships with others -Relate to different parts of you so you can make decisions from your true self, rather than your stressed parts Specialties: Somatic Experiencing, and IFS-informed techniques, guiding BIPOC, 30s-40s + age women, and highly sensitive folks towards healing, empowerment, and breaking free from generational trauma, experienced attachment, cultural, and intergenerational trauma, stress and burnout, stress, and loss. Availability: Tuesday - Thursdays from 9 am - 2 pm only. Please complete intake paperwork, so we can assess if we are a good fit for the first session. I will be doing an intake consultation with you on the first session to make sure we are a good fit. I provide referrals if I feel like your needs are better fit with another provider.

My greatest strengths: Deeply listening and present, Calm, soft, and use of appropriate-humor. Lovingly interrupt and challenge clients, Share tools so the client ignites their inner-healer. Experience in different modalities and interweaving culture.

I work with BIPOC women who experience chronic stress and burnout. Those open to slow mind, body, and soul connection and practices to transform limiting beliefs and stress. This is a good to work with me for those: --BIPOC, Women, parents, 30 + age -For high-functioning, deep thinkers, sensitive, spiritually curious. -People wanting gentle and a slower-pace, than traditional talk-therapy. My work is slow, sacred, and intentional - no quick fixing here. -If you are feeling stress, overthinking, overwhelm, stuck, having limiting beliefs. -People comfortable with body-based practices. -People being an active-participant in and out of sessions. ***Please Note: I only specialize in the populations mentioned above and will kindly refer others to providers who are a better fit for your specific needs.

Somatic

I offer Somatic Experiencing (SE), a trauma-informed, slow body-based healing modality designed to relieve chronic stress, anxiety, and trauma symptoms.Many high-functioning individuals remain stuck in survival states like fight, flight, or freeze—long after the stress has passed. This dysregulation can lead to chronic tension, burnout, disconnection, and even illness. Somatic Experiencing helps gently release stored trauma from the nervous system, restore a felt sense of safety, and build resilience. Through body awareness, regulation tools, and slow, present-moment processing, SE supports long-term healing—so you can feel more grounded, present, and at peace in your body and life.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I use a Internal Family Systems-Informed approach to get to know the parts of us that are stuck in survival and protecting us and may prevent us from embodying our truest and aligned self. It's a very compassionate approach to healing stress and trauma.

Mind-body approach

I use a holistic (mind and body) approach, as this is what creates sustainable healing. You learn the skills to implement a growth mindset, as well as how to regulate your nervous system, and grow it's ability to embody more of the version you want to be living in.
