Hello! So happy to see you. I am Kenya Liddell. Having had experienced many losses in my life, I often wonder what to do next or how to move forward. Sometimes life happens so quickly that it seems like there is not enough time to catch a breath. It's a scary feeling to have to figure out the hustle and bustle of life while still hurting inside. Fearful of being misunderstood, judged or like "it" may not work may be the negative thoughts that have developed during such a devastating loss. Think about getting back to doing the things that you once loved. Think about learning to live the best life that you imagined you could. Think about feeling better about yourself. Together you and I can work to get a better understanding of your loss and create a positive path to growth and healing. You are not alone. Your healing journey is a just call or click away. You can do it. I look forward to working with you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with a briefing introduction, then dive into specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plant for us to work through and follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Although I enjoy working with individuals through all challenges of life, my specialty is grief recovery, Grief recovery refers to how an individual heal from emotional pain, loss, and/or sorrow from personal loss such as but not limited to death, divorce, career changes, stress, parenting, and/or health issues. Grief recovery covers trauma and anxiety that comes along with that loss.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My experience using CBT in my practice has been positive. I have witnessed its effectiveness in helping clients gain insight, develop coping skills, and make lasting changes in their lives. By integrating CBT in my therapeutic approach I've been able to provide evidence-based interventions that promote positive mental health outcomes for my clients.
