What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session we will complete paperwork and administrative Tasks: this may include consent forms, privacy policies, and reviewing insurance information/ payment. This administrative work is tedious but necessary to ensures you are informed and your confidentiality is protected. Next we will review your intake assessment: which involves asking you about your background, current concerns, and reasons for seeking therapy. This helps the us collaborate on your unique situation and tailor your treatment approach to your needs. My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts shape our feelings and our feelings then create beliefs, based on our belief systems we engage and interact with the world and those around us. It is imperative to understand what our belief systems are in our to unpack distorted thinking patterns or reactive emotional outburst. In my practice I provide psychoeducation to collaborate and delve into your values, your boundaries and your vison for yourself.

Humanistic

By embracing the principles of humanistic psychology, I strive to guide my clients on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and personal transformation. I aim to empower my clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and goals in a safe and accepting environment. Through this process, I seek to facilitate personal growth and help individuals realize their full potential. How do we do this? By using talk therapy to explore thoughts, and beliefs, identifying and unpacking patterns that no longer serve you and restructure them.
