Hi! I am a Licensed Psychologist (LP) based in Minnesota. I received my Doctorate from Albizu University-Miami and have been practicing for 8 years. I have experience working with individuals struggling with trauma, mood disorders, anger management, impulse control, interpersonal concerns, addiction, neurodiversity, personality disorders, and those involved in the criminal justice system. My goal is to guide individuals into a greater awareness and deeper healing, so that they can make the best decisions for themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Rapport building initially and I want to hear your story! Clients can expect to be in a nonjudgmental environment where they can be heard and free to express themselves. I understand that things happen in our lives that are sometimes outside of our control, while other things are the outcome of choices. I am dedicated to helping with the growth process, no matter the circumstance.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My clients typically tell me how much better they feel after one session. They tell me they feel like they have chatted with a friend but realize there has been growth in the conversation. To me, that is the way it should be. I believe in a trust based relationship and going at your pace as you are comfortable.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I typically utilize cognitive behavioral, person-centered, solution focused, and mindfulness approaches within therapy sessions. I enjoy creating an atmosphere where clients can identify and become their true selves. It is my belief that sometimes experiences in life can taint one’s genuine self and cause them to develop defense mechanisms that prevent their true nature from being shared with the world. I have a passion for helping others navigate through life’s experiences and difficulties in order to embrace and nurture their true identity.
