My personal experiences have been both a source of struggle and a catalyst for growth, guiding me toward this path with a deep sense of empathy for the challenges my clients may face. I approach my work with humility and I am committed to learning from my clients. I will always do my best to support and grow alongside you. In our first session, we will go through introductions and background, your preferences, and what to expect moving forward. Together we will decide the goals and objectives for addressing barriers between you and the life you want to live.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapy provider, my strengths lie in my adaptability, empathy, and ability to create a comfortable and safe environment for my clients. I tailor my therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual. Whether drawing from various therapeutic modalities or adjusting techniques based on a client’s progress, I ensure that our sessions are aligned with their evolving needs. The most important indicator for success in therapy is the therapeutic relationship itself and I focus on developing a relationship with my clients that is built on trust, mutual respect, and non-judgment. Empathy is at the core of my practice. I deeply understand the importance of validating my clients’ feelings and experiences, and I strive to connect with them on a genuine, human level. This empathetic approach helps build trust and fosters an open, collaborative therapeutic relationship. Creating a sense of safety and comfort is also central to my work. By ensuring that people feel heard and valued, I help them engage more fully in the therapeutic process, which is essential for meaningful growth and healing.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

When I use an eclectic therapy approach, I tailor my methods to fit each client’s unique needs. I start by understanding their specific issues and preferences, then blend various techniques accordingly. For instance, I might use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety, psychodynamic therapy for exploring past experiences, or mindfulness practices for stress management. I stay flexible and adjust my approach based on what works best for each client, aiming to provide a personalized and effective therapy experience.

EMDR

When I use EMDR with my clients, I help them process and resolve distressing memories as well as identify negative core beliefs (i.e. "I am not good enough," "I am not safe," "I am incompetent,") associated with their experiences. We start by identifying troubling events and cognitions and then use bilateral stimulation, like guided eye movements tapping, to reprocess these memories. This helps reduce their emotional impact and allows clients to integrate them more adaptively. Throughout the process, I ensure a supportive environment and adjust the approach based on their needs, aiming to help them heal from past traumas and improve their emotional well-being.
