I'm Jacqueline and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Sexologist, and Certified Sex Coach with a deep commitment to supporting people through life’s tender, complex, and transformative moments. My work is rooted in trauma-informed care, somatic awareness, and the sacredness of connection—whether that’s with yourself, a partner, or the world around you. With over 16+ years of experience, I integrate EMDR, somatic therapy, mindfulness self-compassion, and sex-positive frameworks to support folks in healing from trauma, navigating life transitions, and deepening emotional and sexual intimacy. I hold space for the full range of human experience and welcome exploration of identity, spirituality, and sexuality as integral parts of the healing process. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe in meeting you where you are—with curiosity, compassion, and respect for your lived experience. Whether you’re seeking growth, clarity, or a deeper connection to yourself and others, you are welcome here.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for us to slow down and get to know one another. I’ll invite you to share what brings you in, what you’re hoping for, and any important pieces of your story that feel ready to be named. We’ll also explore what safety and support look like for you, so I can begin tailoring our work to your unique needs and pace. I’ll also guide us through a thoughtful intake process where we’ll explore your daily experiences and symptoms, family background, trauma history (if applicable), medical history, spiritual orientation, and any past experiences you've had with therapy—what’s helped, what hasn’t, and what you’re longing for now. I bring a steady, attuned presence and ask thoughtful, curious questions—not to rush you, but to help you feel seen, understood, and empowered from the beginning. This is your space, and you’re welcome to show up just as you are. By the end of our session, we’ll have a clearer sense of whether we’re a good fit and what our work together might look like. My goal is to create a foundation of trust and collaboration, where you feel grounded, respected, and gently supported as we begin this process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is creating a safe, attuned space where people feel deeply seen, not judged. I bring a strong presence and intuitive listening to my work, which helps clients feel grounded even when we’re exploring vulnerable or complex territory. I don’t shy away from hard truths, but I approach them with warmth, respect, and a touch of humor to help ease the process. My work is integrative and deeply client-centered—I draw from somatic therapy, EMDR, mindfulness self-compassion, and sex-positive frameworks to meet each person where they are. Whether we’re exploring trauma, emotional blocks, intimacy, or life transitions, I tailor our work to honor your pace, identity, and lived experience. I’m also known for being both gentle and direct. I’ll hold space for your pain, but I’ll also lovingly challenge you when it’s needed. Healing work can be messy, sacred, and even playful at times—and I bring my full self to the process so that you feel supported, empowered, and never alone in your growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with folks who are ready to do the work—people who are open to showing up with honesty, curiosity, and a willingness to explore both the messy and meaningful parts of life. My clients are often navigating life transitions, relational or intimacy challenges, or carrying the weight of past trauma that they’re finally ready to move through. I hold space for deep, soulful healing—but I also bring a no-nonsense approach, grounded in compassion, presence, and humor. I value authenticity and invite you to come as you are, without needing to perform or pretend. Whether you're looking to feel more connected in your relationships, regulated in your body, or aligned with your values, I offer a supportive space to untangle what’s been holding you back and reconnect with your sense of self. If you're ready to be real, dive deep, and maybe even laugh a little along the way—I’d be honored to walk beside you.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma can live in the body long after an event has passed—showing up as overwhelm, disconnection, or a sense of being stuck. Whether you're healing from early attachment wounds, relational harm, or complex developmental trauma, my approach honors the wisdom of your nervous system and the pace that feels safe for you. I offer tools rooted in somatic therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness self-compassion to help process trauma gently and effectively, without reactivating overwhelm. In our work together, we create a space where all parts of you are welcome—even the ones that have been exiled, silenced, or shamed. Healing trauma isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about returning to the wholeness that was always there. I invite a slower, more attuned rhythm where you can reconnect with your body, reclaim your voice, and rebuild your sense of safety from the inside out. This work is sacred. It asks for care, tenderness, and patience. I walk with you, not ahead of you, helping you feel more grounded in your truth, more connected to yourself, and more capable of living with presence, vitality, and ease.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy that helps your brain finally file old, overwhelming experiences in the right drawer so they stop running the show. Originally developed by Dr. Francine Shapiro, EMDR is now one of the most trusted methods for healing trauma, anxiety, grief, and more. We use things like eye movements, tapping, or sound to gently activate both sides of the brain — a process called bilateral stimulation (aka: a simple, science-backed way to help you process the hard stuff). You don’t have to relive everything, and we go at your pace. A client once said, “It’s like the memory used to sit in the front row shouting at me — now it’s more like background noise in another room.” Think of it as giving your nervous system some breathing room — and letting your past stop hijacking your present.

Somatic

Somatic therapy invites you to turn toward your body as a source of insight, safety, and healing. Through movement, breath, sensation tracking, and nervous system regulation, we help you learn how to feel again — without becoming overwhelmed. This work is especially powerful for those who’ve felt disconnected from their body, experienced chronic stress, or carry trauma that words alone can’t reach. Together, we create safety from the inside out.

Compassion Focused

I help guide clients in cultivating deep presence, kindness, and compassion — especially toward the parts of themselves they’ve learned to criticize or avoid. Using mindfulness, contemplative practices, and the science of self-compassion, I help you relate to your pain with care, not judgment. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, shame, or perfectionism, this work helps build inner trust and emotional resilience.
