New to Grow
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience working with children, teens, young adults, and adults. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, life transitions, developmental trauma, and more. My approach is holistic and integrative, drawing from various modalities to support each individual’s healing journey. I am trained in Polyvagal Theory, Guided Drawing, CBT, DBT, and I am EMDR-informed. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients can process their experiences, build resilience, and improve their emotional well-being and interpersonal relationships.
Clients can expect to gain practical tools for managing emotions, a deeper understanding of their experiences, and support in healing from trauma. My holistic approach helps clients improve self-awareness, build healthier relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with several years of experience, my greatest strengths lie in my empathy, compassion, and genuine dedication to my clients’ personal growth. I take a holistic approach to therapy, integrating mind-body awareness and evidence-based methods to address each client’s unique needs. I strive to empower clients to build self-awareness, resilience, and confidence, supporting them in becoming the best version of themselves.
My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to explore their personal growth and emotional well-being, even if they feel uncertain about where to start. I work best with clients who are seeking to understand themselves on a deeper level, manage stress, anxiety, or relationship challenges, and create meaningful change in their lives. I especially enjoy supporting those who are open to holistic approaches and interested in learning how their mind and body work together. My goal is to help clients build self-awareness, healing, and empowerment as they navigate life’s transitions and challenges.
I use primarily to work with clients on childhood trauma. In my practice, I focus on helping individuals uncover and become aware of their unconscious processes. By exploring their past and early life experiences, I aim to increase their self-awareness of how these factors have shaped their current behaviors, emotions, and relationships. This approach facilitates healing and personal growth by addressing deep-seated issues rooted in the unconscious mind.
I use CBT to help clients identify and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors. In my practice, CBT is employed to promote practical change by working on present issues such as anxiety, depression, and unhelpful habits. I focus on developing coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and applying cognitive restructuring techniques to empower clients to manage their emotions and improve their overall well-being.
I use DBT to support clients in managing intense emotions, improving their coping skills, and developing healthier relationships. In my practice, I incorporate DBT techniques such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. This approach helps clients build resilience, reduce self-destructive behaviors, and achieve greater emotional stability.
In my practice, I integrate Polyvagal Theory to help clients understand how the autonomic nervous system influences their daily experiences and emotional responses. I teach clients about the different states—such as fight/flight, dissociation (shutdown), and connection—and guide them in recognizing which state they are in. Using a “road map” approach, I help clients make sense of their past and present experiences through the lens of their nervous system responses, fostering greater self-awareness, regulation, and emotional safety.
