My educational background includes a Bachelor's in Psychology from UC Berkeley and an MSW from UCLA. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I'm dedicated to applying evidence-based practices to ensure the most effective support for you. My passion is to partner with you on your healing journey. I understand that opening up about your life and its challenges can feel uncomfortable. That's why I am committed to providing a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly heard and understood. Together, we will gently explore what's holding you back and identify the most effective paths toward healing and personal growth.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be a chance for us to connect. I'll gather information about what brings you to therapy and what you're looking to gain. We'll also touch on your background and family history. From there, we'll begin to explore strategies I think can help you work toward your treatment goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My hope for you is that through our work together, you will not only reach a better emotional place but also leave our sessions armed with practical, lasting skills. These are tools you can carry with you and apply long after our time together, empowering you to navigate life's complexities with greater resilience and a renewed sense of well-being. Let's work together to help you achieve your wellness goals and ultimately feel better.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Do you often find yourself saying, "I wish I felt more motivated?" Does life sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving you searching for a sense of calm? Perhaps you hope to gain control over your anger, or maybe you're constantly telling yourself to "stop being so anxious" but struggle to find relief. If you're yearning for change, a desire to feel better, or a way to stop the incessant worrying, then you've already taken the courageous first step on your journey toward wellness. I help adults navigate a range of life's difficulties, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, challenges related to adoption, infertility, and the transition to parenthood.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Utilize CBT to treat depression, anxiety disorders, anger management amongst other issues. Work collaboratively with clients to create treatment plans to address their cognitions and behaviors that may be contributing to their distress. Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

Utilize ERP method that is part of CBT to help clients experiencing phobias and OCD. Gradually expose clients to experiences in a manner that decreases unwanted symptoms.

Motivational Interviewing

Strength-Based

Work with clients from a strength based perspective. Understanding that all clients have strengths from which to derive treatment. Always looking for clients strengths and helping clients to focus on their own strengths to build resilience. Help clients to see how their individual strengths have helped them through past challenges and how those strengths can continue to help them move forward.
