Hello. I want to start off by saying, "Thank you for deciding to show up for yourself by seeking support." As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Grief Coach, retreat facilitator, and transformational speaker. I meet individuals all the time who share with me that making the first appointment is hard, but grateful they did once they start counseling. My life calling is to create non-judgmental spaces for broken hearts to be healed and purposeful living to be restored. I look forward to creating a nonjudgmental space of guidance and healing.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will start off with a brief introduction, then dive into the specific challenges you're tasked with unpacking and doing the work with the support of mapping out a desired outcome together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I enjoy working with clients who are ready to get started by unpacking their current situation with support, then begin preparing to work on the treatment plan that will result in personal growth and confidence.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Prospective clients who experience the best results are those who are willing to do the work of being vulnerable in a safe place that will come with support and provide guidance to their personalized restoration.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I typically integrate SFBT with other modalities (such as CBT or mindfulness) depending on the client’s needs. Here’s how I use it in sessions: Goal-Setting Early On I invite clients to articulate clear, specific goals. For example, rather than “I want to feel better,” we refine it to “I want to feel confident enough to attend social gatherings twice a month.” Exploring Exceptions I ask about times when the client already managed their problem more successfully, which highlights usable strategies they may not have recognized. Scaling for Progress I use scaling questions regularly to track changes in self-perception, confidence, or symptom severity. These conversations focus attention on progress rather than setbacks. Building on Strengths I highlight and validate the client’s resilience, skills, and resources, reinforcing that they already possess the capacity to create change. Future-Focused Conversation I help clients describe vivid, detailed versions of their “preferred future,” which makes their goals feel tangible and achievable.
