I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist who works with adolescents and Latinx young adults in NYC navigating anxiety, depression, and big life transitions—especially when family expectations, cultural values, and personal needs feel hard to balance. Many of the people I work with are used to being the responsible one, the strong one, or the one who’s “doing fine” on the outside, while feeling overwhelmed or stuck on the inside. Sometimes feeling torn between who they are and who they’re expected to be. Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to hold it all together or explain yourself. Its a space where you can slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and start taking care of yourself without guilt. I already understand how much culture and family can shape what you’re carrying. I bring over six years of experience into my work, but what matters most to me is creating a genuine, supportive connection. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, and I move at your pace. Together, we work on understanding your emotions, building healthier coping skills, and helping you feel more confident and grounded in who you are and where you’re going.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is about connection — a space for you to feel heard, supported, and understood. We’ll take time to talk about what brings you here, what you hope for, how I can best support you as we begin working together, and answer any questions you might have. There’s no rush or pressure — this time is for you to go at your own pace as we start building a trusting, collaborative relationship.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my warmth, empathy, and ability to create a safe, supportive space for clients to express themselves freely. I take pride in being a compassionate and attentive listener, helping clients feel truly heard and understood. Along with a caring and nonjudgmental presence, I bring clinical knowledge and experience that allow me to guide clients through challenges with both sensitivity and skill. I strive to meet each person where they are and walk beside them as they work toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You may be used to putting others first or feeling pressure to “have it all together,” even when you’re struggling. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy—you may simply be ready for a space that’s just for you, where your experiences are understood without having to over-explain. I enjoy working with individuals who are willing to reflect, learn new coping skills, and take small, meaningful steps toward growth and healing.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my work, I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to guide clients in exploring how their thinking patterns influence emotional and behavioral responses. Together, we identify unhelpful thoughts, challenge them with evidence-based techniques, and practice new behaviors that promote emotional well-being and personal growth.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I utilize TF-CBT interventions to help clients process trauma, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and build effective coping strategies.

Eclectic

Essentially, my approach is eclectic, drawing from various therapeutic models to create a flexible, individualized plan that best supports each client’s growth and healing.
