About me

I am a Hispanic female therapist dedicated to supporting clients across the lifespan in a compassionate and culturally sensitive way. I have worked in a variety of settings, including a cancer clinic, foster care, child protection, and domestic violence services, giving me a broad perspective on the challenges people face. My approach focuses on creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life transitions, process difficult emotions, and build resilience while honoring each person’s unique experiences and background.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

When we meet for the first time, my goal is to make you feel comfortable and heard. We’ll talk about what’s been going on for you, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to get out of our work together. I’ll also explain how I work and answer any questions you have. There’s no pressure to have all the answers—this session is just a safe space to start exploring and begin figuring out the best next steps for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

In our work together, I aim to create a space that feels steady, respectful, and genuinely supportive. I help clients slow down their thoughts, understand their patterns, strengthen their coping skills, and reconnect with a sense of confidence and direction. Whether someone is taking their very first step into therapy or returning after many years, I meet them where they are and walk with them at a pace that feels right.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults across the full stretch of adulthood, from 18-year-olds finding their footing to older adults navigating the later chapters of life. My clients come to me seeking support with anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, relationship stress, and the quiet worries that tend to echo in the background of everyday life.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

In our work together, we’ll explore how your past experiences and old relationship patterns may still be shaping how you feel and respond today. As you start to understand these deeper layers, you’ll have more room to break old cycles and move through life with greater clarity and choice.

Attachment-based

In our sessions, we’ll look at how your early relationships shaped the way you connect, trust, and respond to others now. Together, we’ll create a steady, supportive space where you can practice new ways of relating, heal old wounds, and build healthier, more secure connections in your life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In our work together, we’ll look at how your thoughts, feelings, and actions connect. We’ll notice the patterns that leave you feeling stuck, then practice shifting unhelpful thoughts and building healthier habits. Over time, this helps you respond to challenges with more clarity, confidence, and control.

Grief Therapy

In our sessions, we’ll create space for you to talk about your loss at your own pace and explore the emotions that come with it. Grief therapy will help you understand what this loss means to you, support you through the harder moments, and guide you as you slowly rebuild a life that can hold both the pain and the love you carry.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In our work together, we’ll use mindfulness to help you slow down and notice what’s happening inside you without judging yourself. You’ll learn simple practices that bring you back to the present moment so you can respond to stress, emotions, and negative thoughts with more steadiness and choice, instead of feeling swept away by them.
