LP, 18 years of experience
New to Grow
As a licensed therapist in Georgia, I bring 18 years of dedicated experience supporting individuals through life's complex challenges. My practice centers on helping clients navigate diverse experiences, with specialized expertise in depression, family dynamics, grief, self-esteem, and adapting to significant life transitions. I am particularly passionate about working with older adults, young professionals, military veterans, and multicultural communities. My approach honors each person's unique journey, with a focus on addressing communication challenges, workplace stress, relationship transitions, and the nuanced impacts of prejudice and discrimination. I create a compassionate space where clients can explore their experiences, develop resilient coping strategies, and cultivate meaningful personal growth. Whether you're confronting panic attacks, family conflicts, midlife transitions, or seeking support through challenging life changes, I'm committed to walking alongside you with empathy and professional guidance.
Early on you’ll have the opportunity to share your story, your concerns, and the goals that you’d like to see achieved in therapy. We’ll come up with a plan together to make progress toward those goals. As we uncover and untangle solutions throughout the process, just know that you’ll be supported every step of the way.
I believe in a collaborative process, where you are the expert in you and I support your journey with reflection and challenges along the way. It is important that we define what success looks like for you so the work that we do is oriented toward that goal, and ultimately more meaningful and long-lasting. My sincere hope is that the work we do in-session translates to your world outside of therapy.
I feel I work best with those who are ready, willing, and committed to the process of growth and change. My style works best with those who are ready to work toward making lasting change.
I work collaboratively with clients to identify challenging thoughts and behaviors that impact their mental well-being. Using CBT foundations, I work with clients to identify and challenge those thoughts and behaviors. That is followed with learning healthy practice strategies to manage symptoms and avoid problematic behaviors.
