I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Family Health Nurse Practitioner. My dual certification allows me to approach mental health holistically, considering both psychological and physical well-being. Working over the years with a broad spectrum of patients has enabled me to treat and communicate effectively with diverse clients. I am passionate about helping young adults navigate life's challenges and reach their full potential. I love working with clients who are motivated to improve their lives but feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious about various aspects, such as relationships or daily life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our initial session, we'll begin by discussing the particular challenges you're encountering. Together, we'll craft a personalized plan that we'll follow up on in subsequent sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with a variety of clients over the past 20 years, I have learned to create a safe space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves without fear of judgment.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am passionate about assisting clients aged 18 and above and eager to enhance their lives. While many of these individuals possess the necessary tools, they frequently experience feelings of being stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious concerning their relationships or daily routines.

My treatment methods

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness teaches a person to focus on the present and focus on the things that are happening right now. The person lets go their thoughts about the past and the future. When you dwell on the past or the future, you miss moments that can heal and strengthen you. When a person is accepting, there is no judgment of the present moment. Instead, you accept your thoughts and feelings as they come.
