New to Grow
Seeking therapy takes courage, and finding the right therapist is an important first step. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 37 years of behavioral health experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, grief, caregiving responsibilities, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, respected, and supported while also gaining tools to make meaningful changes in your life. Together, we will identify your strengths, explore patterns that may be contributing to current challenges, and develop strategies to help you move forward with greater confidence and resilience. I work with adults from diverse backgrounds and strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where growth and healing can occur.
During our first session, we will spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brought you to therapy. I will ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, relationships, strengths, and goals so I can better understand your unique situation. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether I am a good fit for your needs. My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. Together, we will begin developing a plan that focuses on your goals and the changes you would like to see in your life.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is the depth of experience I bring to each session. For more than 37 years, I have worked with individuals and families facing a wide range of life challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, caregiving responsibilities, and major life transitions. Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, and easy to talk with. I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where people feel comfortable discussing difficult topics. At the same time, I believe therapy should be productive and goal-oriented. I will listen carefully, offer honest feedback, help identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work collaboratively with you to develop practical solutions. My approach balances compassion with accountability. I believe lasting change occurs when clients feel supported while also being challenged to explore new perspectives, build resilience, and take meaningful steps toward their goals.
I work best with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, grief, caregiving responsibilities, or major life transitions. Many of my clients are professionals, caregivers, parents, and individuals facing personal or family challenges who are seeking practical solutions and emotional support. I provide a collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can gain insight, build resilience, improve relationships, and develop effective coping strategies. My goal is to help clients create meaningful and lasting change while improving their overall well-being.
