About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I earned my Master’s degree at Indiana University, and throughout my career I’ve helped people discover new ways of coping, healing, and creating meaningful change. Life can feel overwhelming at times — stress, anxiety, grief, or transitions may leave you feeling stuck, inadequate, or uncertain about the future. If this sounds familiar, you don’t have to face it alone. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you find clarity, strength, and a renewed sense of balance so you can live more fully.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is about creating a safe, supportive space where you can simply exhale. I’ll take time to get to know you as a whole person — your challenges but also your strengths and values. Together, we’ll begin to identify what matters most to you and how therapy can support your goals. You’ll leave with the reassurance that you’ve taken the first step toward meaningful change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Over the years, clients have shared that they feel comfortable opening up with me quickly because I listen without judgment and foster genuine connection. Building strong, trusting relationships is at the heart of my work. When you feel safe and understood, it becomes easier to face hard truths, build resilience, and explore new ways forward. I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative. I’ll bring my experience and skills to our sessions, and you’ll bring your lived experiences and goals. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels realistic and empowering. Therapy is a journey we take together. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling supported, understood, and more confident in your ability to navigate whatever life brings. I look forward to meeting you and walking with you on this path.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work primarily with adults who want a safe, compassionate place to explore life’s challenges and discover new ways of coping. Many of my clients are navigating: Anxiety, depression, or stress Grief and loss Trauma and past experiences Life transitions and relationship challenges A general desire for more balance, clarity, and fulfillment No matter where you are in your journey, I’m here to support you with care and respect.
