You want freedom from old patterns such as perfectionism, unresolved trauma, or unhealthy relationships that keep fueling your anxiety and sadness. Hi, I'm Kimberly Rudy. I am a trauma-informed therapist and I specialize in working with women experiencing anxiety, depression, and the impact of past trauma. I help women learn to embrace their personal power, reclaim control over their lives, and face each new day with confidence and a renewed sense of self.
In our first session, we will begin to create a safe environment for you to express your needs, concerns, and goals, helping me understand your reasons for seeking therapy. This session serves as the first step toward us developing trust and rapport fostering a collaborative and empowering space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Through an integrative approach, you'll learn coping skills, including exploring the mind-body connection for holistic healing. While we may explore painful or challenging topics, I believe laughter, hope, and healing can coexist.
My authenticity, deep empathy, ability to truly hear you, and my heartfelt compassion are my greatest strengths. I see your strength even when you don't, and my goal is to help you reclaim your power and belief in yourself. I am inspired when women are able to begin feeling hopeful, safe, validated, seen, and understood.
I help women of all ages who grapple with chronic worries, self-doubt, and emotional exhaustion learn to recognize and embrace their personal power, reclaim control over their lives, and face each new day with confidence rather than fear. While my clients are eager to heal, they often require support in recognizing the underlying issues and understanding their root causes. Through our work together, they develop increased awareness, decreased daily distress, and internalize their strengths through the use of new coping skills.
Trauma Informed Care
Acknowledging the profound impact of trauma, I approach my work with deep empathy and a nuanced understanding of its complexities. Throughout my experience, I've witnessed countless women, initially unsure of the possibility of healing, undergo transformative journeys that surpassed their own expectations. It has been a privilege to be part of their process, witnessing the incredible resilience that emerges when met with genuine support and understanding.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) providing women effective tools to identify, challenge, and reframe negative thought patterns. For women navigating trauma, anxiety or depression, CBT serves as a powerful ally, aiding in breaking free from the weight of past experiences and cultivating more empowering ways of thinking.
Strength-Based
In my work, rather than solely concentrating on challenges, I emphasize and highlight your inherent strengths, resilience, and coping mechanisms. By acknowledging and maximizing these positive aspects, we collaboratively navigate the path to healing. This approach has empowered numerous women I have worked with to enhance their existing capabilities, cultivating a sense of agency and confidence in their healing journey. Together, we have explored and harnessed their strengths as potent tools to overcome challenges, laying the groundwork for lasting transformation.

Kimberly's warmth and support have been instrumental in me feeling my own strength and competence. I've gone through huge life transitions, and she has been cheering me on and helping me to see my own assets and abilities.
