New to Grow
I am a licensed therapist dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward improved mental health and overall well-being. I provide a safe, reflective, and collaborative space where clients can explore challenges, process emotions, and work toward meaningful personal growth. I encourage open feedback, aim to help clients get the most from each session, and embrace a team approach to therapy.
During our initial session, we will discuss your goals, challenges, and expectations for therapy. This session is an opportunity to get to know each other, build rapport, and develop a collaborative plan tailored to your needs. You can expect a warm, non-judgmental space where your concerns are heard and respected.
I’m trained in Art Therapy, CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Exposure and Relapse Prevention. I combine evidence-based strategies with creative, personalized approaches to help clients navigate emotions, build resilience, and achieve real progress. I’m graciously direct, offering both support and challenge as you work toward becoming your best self.
I work best with individuals impacted by trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, neurodiversity, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I am especially suited for clients who are motivated to understand themselves better, develop coping strategies, and make lasting changes in their lives.
In our work together, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you notice unhelpful or negative thoughts and understand how they affect your feelings and actions. We’ll work together to identify patterns, set goals, and try out new strategies that you can use in your daily life. The idea is to help you change unhelpful thought patterns, build positive behaviors, and develop practical coping skills. CBT is effective for anxiety, depression, OCD, and stress, and in our sessions, we’ll focus on teamwork, practicing strategies in real situations, and tracking your progress so you can see the changes you’re making.
I use attachment theory to help you understand how your early relationships might influence the way you relate to others and respond emotionally. Together, we’ll explore patterns in your connections, notice how they affect your life, and work on building healthier, more secure relationships. The focus is on understanding, practical strategies, and creating stronger, more fulfilling connections.
I use faith-based therapy to help you bring your spiritual beliefs and values into the process of healing and growth. We’ll explore how your faith can support you in coping with challenges, making decisions, and finding meaning in difficult experiences. Together, we’ll work on practical ways to live in alignment with your values and draw strength from your beliefs as you move forward.
I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help you face the thoughts, feelings, or situations that trigger anxiety or compulsions in a safe, structured way. We’ll gradually practice confronting these triggers while learning to resist unhelpful reactions, so you can reduce anxiety and regain control over your life. The goal is to help you feel more confident, break unhelpful patterns, and handle challenging situations with greater ease.
I use a trauma-informed approach, which means we focus on creating a safe and supportive space while understanding how past experiences may be affecting your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We’ll work together to recognize patterns that come from past trauma, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. The goal is to help you feel safe, empowered, and better able to manage challenges in your life.
