(she/her)
Are you going through a stressful time? Hi, I'm Kaylee Murphy. I specialize in supporting individuals who are navigating challenging moments in their lives. I take a holistic approach, meaning I believe daily lifestyle habits like nutrition, movement, and social connections play a crucial role in managing stress, in addition to the support and guidance you will receive in therapy. Whether you're grappling with overwhelm at work, relationship hurdles, or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here for you. I know taking the step to seek therapy can be daunting, but you're making a courageous choice. Everyone deserves a nurturing space to be heard and to grow. When we meet, I'll greet you with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based strategies to help you tackle whatever is holding you back. Let's embark on this journey together!
After each session with me, clients can expect to feel understood and empowered. We'll uncover your innate strength, resilience, and the skills necessary to tackle the challenges you face. If you want homework; I'll assign it. If you don't; no problem! Our collaborative journey will aim at not only providing relief but also at building a foundation for lasting well-being,
I utilize a diverse range of evidence-based techniques tailored to your individual needs. Some of the tools in my toolkit include CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), mindfulness-based therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Solution Focused Therapy. Above all, our sessions will provide a safe and non-judgmental space for genuine expression and reflection.
While I'm experienced in various areas of psychotherapy, many of my clients appreciate my approach which blends therapeutic techniques with motivational coaching. I'm not a silent therapist – I'm your ally in this journey. My particular strength lies in creating a warm, approachable environment where clients feel comfortable sharing and exploring.
I love working with clients in times of transition such as relationship endings, divorce, job loss, graduating from college. I work well with clients dealing with stress and anxiety. Also, I have expertise in sustainable weight loss (using cbt) and insomnia. I am part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
