If you are reading this- you have made a courageous decision to improve your life. Seeking mental healthcare should not feel "scary", but at times it does feel intimidating to speak about personal struggles or current challenges to others- especially over the internet. This is why I believe mental healthcare should be humane and not transactional. My practice philosophy is based on Rogerian principles of unconditional acceptance, non-judgmental care combined with clinical expertise. Through a therapeutic relationship, my goal is to optimize your mental wellness while building an environment of trust, safety, and acceptance. At the end of our session- we will discuss your diagnosis and treatment plan moving forward, if applicable medication management will be discussed. Any concerns or questions in relation to medication will be addressed- so that you can be at ease with your treatment plan and have a clear understanding of mutually agreed treatment goals. We will work together on what works best for YOU. Let's take the next step together.
No judgement. A clear understanding on why you are feeling the way you do. A clear understanding on what can be done to improve your situation. A clear understanding on how medication can help, benefits and possible side effects.
I have a passion and commitment to bringing mental healthcare that is humanistic and authentic NOT transactional. I aim to help clients transforms their lives and overcome challenges. I treat my patients as valuable human beings , not another psychiatric case.

I have had a bad experience seeing a mental health provider in the past so i was very nervous at first but Alicia made it very easy to talk to her she was very nice and welcoming. This was my first appointment with her but i can definitely say it helped me a lot.
