I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serving clients throughout California. I earned my Master of Social Work from California State University, Bakersfield in 2020, and have spent over 10 years working in Community Mental Health. Throughout my career, I’ve supported individuals living with severe mental health challenges in building stability, resilience, and a better quality of life. My approach is genuine, compassionate, and shaped by both professional training and real-life experience — allowing for authentic connection and collaborative growth. Therapy with me is grounded, supportive, and centered on you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first appointment is an assessment session. During this time, we will complete a comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluation to better understand your history, current concerns, and overall needs. This session is designed to gather important background information and clarify goals and potential diagnoses. While we may begin discussing your concerns, the primary focus is on getting a full picture of you as a whole person. Ongoing therapy work will begin in the sessions that follow.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Growing up in Los Angeles, I was exposed to the realities of violence, poverty, substance use, and systemic inequities. These early experiences shaped my commitment to increasing access to compassionate, culturally responsive mental health care for underserved and underrepresented communities. I began my career in the mental health field as a case manager, where I developed a strong foundation in client advocacy, crisis support, and community-based care. During this time, I witnessed the measurable impact that active listening, empathy, and consistency can have on an individual’s stability and long-term growth. Today, I maintain a client-centered, collaborative approach rooted in respect, cultural humility, and evidence-based practice. I prioritize creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to work toward meaningful and sustainable change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

With over 10 years of clinical experience, I specialize in working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, mood instability, and co-occurring concerns such as substance use, trauma history and relationship distress. Much of my work centers on individuals who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, burnout, or difficulty setting boundaries. Many of my clients struggle with self-worth, self-doubt, and navigating complicated intimate, family, or peer relationships. I have extensive experience serving underserved and diverse populations, including individuals impacted by poverty, rural isolation, suicidality, emotional and verbal abuse, and complex trauma. I approach therapy with cultural humility, direct yet compassionate feedback, and a focus on practical skills that promote emotional regulation and healthier relational patterns. I work best with clients who are ready to build insight, strengthen their relationship with themselves, and create meaningful, sustainable change in their lives.
