Authentic

I’m a licensed therapist with 10 years of experience helping people work through anxiety, relationship stress, work burnout, grief, and the many transitions that come with figuring out who you are and what you want. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not quite yourself, I offer a warm, supportive space to sort through the noise and move toward more clarity, confidence, and connection.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is mostly about getting the full picture. I’ll be asking a lot of questions—about your background, what’s been going on lately, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy—so I can better understand how to support you. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for and we’ll move at a pace that feels manageable. This is also a chance for you to get a sense of how I work and see if it feels like a good fit.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With a decade of experience, I bring a mix of clinical insight, real-life perspective, and genuine curiosity to our sessions. Clients often tell me they feel seen, supported, and more grounded after we talk. I’m good at helping people sort through overwhelm, make sense of their emotions, and build a stronger relationship with themselves. My style is warm, engaged, and honest—with just enough challenge to help you grow.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with people who are navigating big questions about identity, purpose, relationships, and the kind of life they want to build. You might look fine on the outside but feel lost, anxious, or uncertain underneath. Maybe you’re juggling career pressure, complicated friendships, self-doubt, or the grief of how things “should’ve” gone. If you’re ready to unpack some of that and get unstuck, we’ll probably work well together.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is about making space for difficult thoughts and feelings without letting them control your life. I use this approach to help you connect to your values and take meaningful steps forward, even when things feel messy or uncertain. This approach is especially useful for addressing anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I frequently draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps clients recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns that can fuel anxiety, depression, and self-doubt. We work together to develop more balanced thinking and practical tools for managing everyday challenges.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

At the core of my approach is a person-centered foundation, which means I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I believe that meaningful change happens when you're supported in exploring your experiences at your own pace.

Elizabeth listens very well and provides the right balance of warmth and assertiveness to help me see what I need to see in a comfortable way. She remembers things from previous sessions and intertwines them together. Very genuine vibes of truly trying to help me.
