Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is a short-term, goal-oriented counseling approach that focuses on helping potential clients identify and build on their strengths, resources, and possible solutions to build hope and confidence rather than analyzing problems in depth. I believe that my clients already possess the strength and resources needed to resolve their difficulties which I help explore and utilize those skills.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a also a goal oriented approach to therapy that I like to utilize with clients when needed. CBT allows the client and I to focus on the relationship between a person's thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We work together on identifying and changing distorted thinking patterns to help improve their emotional well-being and behavior.
