New to Grow
Hello, nice to meet you! It can be challenging going through the process of accepting and creating the momentum to take steps towards bettering your mental health and finding better ways to cope with stress. I believe in working with you to create a warm and open-minded environment to foster transparency and vulnerability within session. If you are looking to find better ways to address certain areas in your life, but have not had the proper support, we will work together as a team towards identifying, taking steps, and accomplishing your goals. I have been providing therapy services since 2021 as a Licensed Master Social Worker, and have been providing services as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2025. I work with clients between the ages of 18-65 who experience a range of mental health conditions and needs. I specialize in ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Issues, Stress Management, Life Transitions, and mood disorders, however I have worked with an expansive range of individuals with different mental health conditions. I utilize different therapy modalities and approaches in session to best meet my client's needs.
In session, I take a casual, conversational, yet structured approach to facilitating treatment and the therapeutic discussion. During our first session, I will focus on getting to know you through asking psychiatric, integrative, and holistic questions, to get a foundation to build off of for future sessions and treatment.
I believe in a holistic approach, and respect that everyone has their own individual story and circumstance. I structure my sessions to be an accepting, calm, humorous (when needed), casual safe space. I believe therapy can be a structured conversation, with integrated time to process, access, learn/practice helpful tools and skills to treat and work with/through conditions and stressors. I tend to take a multimodal approach primarily focused in DBT, CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing modalities/techniques. Everyone is unique, so I believe therapy should be customized to the individual.
The ideal client is someone who is willing to enter the therapeutic alliance with both willingness, transparency, and a general idea of what they would like to work towards. Ideal client is someone ready to make the commitment of taking those first few steps for their health journey, and work with me to create a judgment-free space that they feel comfortable to be vulnerable, honest, and "do the work" within.
My therapeutic approach incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients build psychological flexibility, develop a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions, and engage in actions that reflect their personal values.
I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my clinical practice to help clients identify and understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through a collaborative and structured approach, I support clients in developing healthier patterns of thinking, strengthening coping skills, and making meaningful behavioral changes that promote improved emotional well-being and overall functioning.
I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) principles and skills into my therapeutic practice to help clients develop greater emotional awareness and regulation, increase distress tolerance (self-soothing), strengthen interpersonal effectiveness (communication/advocacy), and cultivate mindfulness. I work collaboratively with clients to develop practical, sustainable strategies for navigating emotional distress, interpersonal challenges, and life stressors while fostering greater resilience and self-acceptance.
I integrate Motivational Interviewing (MI) into my therapeutic practice to support clients in exploring their goals, values, and readiness for change. Using a collaborative, client-centered approach, I help clients identify their own motivations, resolve ambivalence, strengthen confidence in their ability to change, and develop meaningful steps toward achieving their goals.
My therapeutic approach incorporates mindfulness-based interventions to help clients develop greater present-moment awareness, emotional regulation, self-compassion, and resilience while learning to respond to thoughts, emotions, and life experiences with greater intention and acceptance.
