Hello; I am an LCSW, licensed clinican social worker who has worked in mental health for over 30 years. I love and have great passion for the work that I do. I believe in the importance of treating people with dignity and respect. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and seniors. I have worked with people with severe mental illness as well. To me all people deserve to live their lives with peace and dignity. We all make mistakes in life. I have also worked with prison population. So I believe my experience in doing my work is strong! Yet I strive to learn more each day!!!! To me we each live our life one time and we deserve to have peace and happiness even though this world of ours is at stiles an ugly and scary place, we deserve to have our place in it with the tools that will help us feel good about who and what we are!!!!!
Our first session about getting to know each other, an explanation of confidentiality, discussion around how often yo meet, a discussion around what they are looking for, a comprehensive psychosocial assessment to determine what we are look at in terms of their symptoms and discussion around goals and a treatment plan to discuss what the clients wants yo work on and what they are willing to do. My goal is that my client will feel safe, respected, and valued.

I love working with all people, genders and cultures as these are who play a part in this world of our. We all have issues from time to time, no one is perfect. I am here for all those who want to help themselves. It is those who have a chance to have a better chance to live the life they choose!! In life we all need to make decisions to deal with our issues and some of us are not able to get to that place. Some of use never get to that place. Life is also about choice, and I am available to help that are looking for understanding and eventual growth and change.
I use CBT to help clients see how our negative thoughts affect our daily lives. I help them to understand that sometimes we make a small issue into one that we are unable to manage due to our negative, fearful thoughts. I also help them understand how these negative.contribute to anxiety, panic disorders and other mental health disorders. I also discuss the importance of understanding that yesterday is gone and help them to process past issues with the goal of learning to focus on today and learning the tools needed to live life one day at a time, to focus on the positive and understand that live can be both wonderful and very difficult and painful. We never know what will throw at us from day to day and the only think in life we truly can control is ourselves and our behaviors.
In supportive therapy my main goal is to provide clients with additional help and support to manage their daily life. I help clients learn about Positive communication, anger, frustration, low self worth are areas that can complicate our life and yet we have to manage each of these area and emotions in order to fell more in control of our individual life. I explain how life is a long journey with many twists and turns which can lead to lack of communication, separation and feeling of loneliness. I help them understand how to come off the forest, the darkness and see hope for themselves and those they love. I help them under that violence just destroys over time and we have the power with time, patience, and very hard work to learn to live a different life,
