What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their life, family, and careers.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing (MI) is a technique I use daily in my practice to effectively support clients in making meaningful changes in their lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

One memorable experience involved working with a patient suffering from severe social anxiety. Through CBT, we focused on identifying and challenging distorted thoughts related to social interactions, engaged in gradual exposure exercises to feared social situations, and applied relaxation techniques to manage anxiety. Over time, the patient experienced a significant reduction in social fears, increased their participation in social activities, and reported an overall improvement in quality of life.

Psychoeducation

One notable experience involved working with a young adult diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Through structured psychoeducational sessions, I explained the nature of the disorder, the importance of mood monitoring, and the role of medications and therapy. By involving the patient’s family, we created a robust support system knowledgeable about how to help manage the condition and recognize early signs of mood shifts. This comprehensive approach resulted in better symptom management, fewer hospitalizations, and an overall improved quality of life for the patient.
