In our first session you can expect brief introductions before identifying what is bringing you to therapy at this time and where you would like to be. Together we will create a plan specific to your needs. I will use a variety of creative techniques in future sessions such as art, play, and talk therapy to help explore thoughts and feelings. I prioritize trust to foster open communication and growth.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Certified in TF-CBT, I utilize this in my practice with youth and adolescents who have experienced trauma. Parent involvement is preferred in this process.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT in my practice by exploring the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together we will work to build healthier thought patterns and develop coping skills to reduce presenting symptoms.
