(she/her)
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, and I specialize in working with couples, teenagers, and the LGBTQ population. I am here to provide attuned feedback and guidance as you navigate sex and love, anxiety, grief and loss, the ongoing effects of childhood trauma, unlearning codependency and strengthening or softening boundaries. My goal is to help you develop tools for self-awareness, resiliency and intimacy building, and conflict resolution. I believe deeply in the power of healing work, and the great courage it takes to turn inward, to turn toward pain, and to face and love ourselves.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
In my work as a therapist, I have developed a talent for tracking and naming patterns in relationships, including in the relationship with yourself. I offer deep insight and curiosity, and work best with clients who want and benefit from this type of insight.
Supportive, loving and conscious relationships need ongoing self-reflection. They also flourish with a willingness to grow and change alongside your partner. I help couples to identify destructive patterns, learn tools for more effective communication, and repair conflict with empathy and love. In my work with teens, I support young people in navigating this time of profound change and growth, and for many, intense struggle and insecurity. I have worked with teens for almost two decades in varying capacities, and love the opportunity to support teens in developing healthy coping tools, and learning and loving themselves better.
Attachment-based
My work as a therapist is grounded in trauma-informed, feminist, and attachment based principles that highlight the importance of safe and trusting relationships.
