(she/her)
My name is Andrea Brown, and I am a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I take a holistic, collaborative approach with all of my clients—working together to understand your unique experiences, strengths, and challenges. My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we can integrate evidence-based treatments such as medication management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and motivational approaches to promote healing, resilience, and long-term wellness.
In our first session, you can expect a relaxed conversation where I’ll get to know you, your history, and your current concerns. We’ll talk about your goals for treatment, review any symptoms or challenges you’re experiencing, and begin building a plan together to support your mental health and wellness.
What stands out about my approach is that I combine evidence-based treatments with a holistic, collaborative style. I focus on helping clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes that improve both their mental health and overall well-being.
I support individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed or navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, or stress related to life transitions. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore healthier ways of coping and especially enjoy working with clients who are ready to set personal goals and take meaningful steps toward balance and overall wellness.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I integrate both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing into my practice. I use CBT to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, while Motivational Interviewing supports clients in exploring their readiness for change, building confidence, and setting achievable goals. Together, these approaches allow me to address both cognitive patterns and motivation, empowering clients to take active steps toward improved mental health.
