New to Grow
I work with adults navigating stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, identity concerns, and life transitions. I take a whole-person approach, looking at how your thoughts, emotions, body, and daily habits all connect. My approach is supportive, culturally responsive, and grounded in real-life experiences. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, explore your challenges, and develop practical ways to feel more balanced, confident, and connected in your everyday life. Therapy with me is about understanding you, not fixing you, and helping you make meaningful changes at your own pace.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is a chance to slow down, feel heard, and start exploring what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current challenges, whether it’s stress, emotional concerns, or relationship patterns, and what you hope to achieve. I’ll ask questions, listen closely, and provide a safe, supportive space. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I take a whole-person approach, looking at emotions, thought patterns, and how relationships and stress show up in your body and daily habits. Clients often feel understood while gaining practical tools they can use between sessions.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or confused by relationship patterns. Many of my clients are managing anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, or relationship issues and want more clarity, healthier boundaries, and more fulfilling connections.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
My work is grounded in an approach that prioritizes empathy and authenticity. I focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and respected, allowing you to explore your experiences at their own pace. Through deep listening and thoughtful reflection, I help clients build self-awareness, self-trust, and clarity around their values and goals. I often integrate this approach with other interventions while ensuring the work stays aligned with each client’s lived experience and cultural context.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
My practice is rooted in culturally sensitive therapy, recognizing that your identity, culture, and lived experience shape how you understand yourself and your relationships. I approach our work with cultural humility, curiosity, and respect, taking time to understand how systems, values, and family dynamics impact what you’re navigating. Rather than asking you to fit into a rigid model, I adapt the work to align with your cultural context. This allows therapy to feel relevant, affirming, and grounded in your real life.
Gender-affirming therapy
My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and safe to be yourself. I honor your identity and lived experience. We’ll explore identity, expression, relationships, and any challenges at a pace that feels right for you. I also hold space for the real impact of stigma and discrimination, while supporting you in building self-trust, resilience, and a sense of alignment in your life.
Mind-body approach
I take a whole-person approach to therapy, looking at how stress and emotional experiences show up in your everyday life. This can include changes in appetite, sleep, energy, focus, and how you relate to others. When something feels off, your body is often the first to let you know. In our work together, I help you tune into these signals with curiosity and care, not judgment. By understanding the connection between your mind and body, we focus on helping you feel more balanced, grounded, and supported so therapy creates change you can actually feel in your day-to-day life.
