I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience supporting clients through relationships, identity exploration, life transitions, and meaningful personal growth. I work with adults, teens, and young children, and I believe that reaching out for help is a brave first step toward a more fulfilling life. My goal is to offer a warm, grounded, and supportive space where you can explore what you’re going through and begin moving toward the changes you want. I take a holistic approach, looking at the full context of your life—your relationships, environment, strengths, and the things that matter most to you. I see therapy as a collaborative journey where you feel both empowered and understood.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

You can expect to feel welcomed, accepted, and heard. We will talk about what brings you in, what you hope to achieve, and how we can work together in a way that feels safe and comfortable. My focus is on creating a calm, supportive space where you can begin sharing at your own pace.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients describe me as warm, present, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a space where you can explore difficult or emotional topics while still feeling grounded and supported. I see myself as a thought partner—someone who walks beside you as you gain insight, build confidence, and discover new ways to approach challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am a good fit for clients navigating relationship concerns, identity development, parenting changes, loss, and major life transitions. I also enjoy working with individuals who are curious about self-discovery, what motivates them, and how to overcome barriers to change. Together, we can explore what feels challenging and develop new pathways toward your goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my work with clients to support them as they address and begin to challenge unhelpful thoughts, which can derail or make reaching goals a more challenging process.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

In my work, I am intentional about partnering with the client to customize an approach which is respective of cultural, communal, and familial beliefs and values.

Trauma Informed Care

I employ a trauma informed approach in my work generally and help clients to consider the myriad of ways that disruptive and unsettling experiences have informed their life choices and functioning. We work together to process those emotions and think about how to develop new coping and survival strategies.

Narrative

I believe that everyone is the author of their own story and I often use a narrative approach to help clients take ownership of their story and access their power to determine outcomes in their lives.

Interpersonal

My work is centered around relationships, both the rupture and reparative nature of that work. This process supports a person's ability to better understand themselves and others.
