New clients continue care with this provider

Hi! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) based in Massachusetts. I received my MSW from Boston College, and has 8 years of experience working in the mental health and substance use field. I help adults who struggle with fear, self-control, and substance use disorders to challenge their fears, manage their lives, and improve their mental well being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will introduce ourselves and start the process of exploring what is important to you. This discussion is geared towards identifying areas for work, and is used to design a plan that is just right for you..

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With me there is no judgment. I see you as a human being who is experiencing a challenge, and I am working alongside you to meet that challenge.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults who constantly worry about what's going to happen in the future to the point where they can't slow their thoughts down, they lose sleep, and live in fear daily.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I utilize unconditional positive regard as a way to create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to work through grief and loss at your own pace.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is highly effective in treating anxiety. I utilize CBT to help you identify and change thoughts that cause you to consistently worry, have feelings of being out of control, and feeling fearful daily. I have been utilizing CBT to treat anxiety and depression for the past 6 and half years and found that individuals respond well to treatment. They learn how to reframe unhealthy thoughts and manage their anxiety and depression.

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing to help you decide what changes to make and how to make them. MI works well with individuals who are unsure about how to make changes.
