New to Grow
Do you feel overwhelmed or anxious? Are you struggling to find balance in your life? I'm dedicated to helping individuals navigate challenging such as new jobs, and relationships. If they play sports this could also include new expecations from coaches and teammates. I have experience working with individuals struggling with substance abuse, anxiety, depression, anxiety, attachment releated concerns as well as other issues. My goal is to create a collaborative and safe space where clients feel heard and empowered to explore difficult emotions, dynamics, and past experiences.
Client's can expect to leave their first session with me feeling heard and empowered. I will offer an objective perspective, which will help client's gain clarity on difficult situations or strong emotions.
My approach to therapy is trauma informed and strength based. Drawing from evidence based modalities such as CBT and ACT, I tailor my sessions to each client's needs. Art therapy and experiential interventions may also be used when appropriate to further assist clients in processing strong emotions. When working with athletes or professionals in the sports field, I use pratical and relevant examples that aid in talking through specfic challenges or areas of frustration.
I have experience and I'm comfortable working with young professionals navigating career transitions as well as work life balance. I'm trained in EMDR and can help client's process trauma as well as other difficult experiences. Lastly, I've worked with athletes struggling with performance releated anxiety that have played sports such as baseball, basketball and football. I have also worked with individuals struggling with the stress and demands of working in the sports industry.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps you identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful changes that improve your emotional well-being and everyday life.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help people process distressing or traumatic experiences that continue to affect their daily lives. Using guided bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping, EMDR helps the brain reprocess difficult memories so they become less emotionally overwhelming. Many clients find that EMDR reduces the intensity of painful memories while helping them move forward with greater confidence and emotional balance.
