I understand that everyone's situation and lives are different and my approach is to get to know each client on a deep level to help them the best as I can. Finding the right provider that matches with your needs can be a daunting and arduous task which is why I'm here to help make the steps easier by providing you with a safe space to discuss your needs and concerns. I like take time to properly educate my clients regarding the different treatment options available to them along with risks and benefits. I never want my clients to feel confused about their treatment plans so they can make a properly informed decision for themselves.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

the first session is a pivotal moment where trust is built, and it's important to set a calm, open tone As a mental health provider I believe the first session is a pivotal moment where I can build trust so that my client feels safe and open to discuss their concerns and feelings. In our first session, I’ll take some time to get to know you, your history, and what brings you here. It’s really about understanding where you’re at and how I can best support you moving forward. We’ll talk about your current concerns, any past experiences that might be relevant, and explore any mental health symptoms you may be experiencing. I’ll also ask about your medical history and lifestyle, as these factors can play a role in your well-being. I want to create a space where you feel heard and respected, so there’s no rush. It’s okay if you don’t have all the answers or if you’re unsure about what you’re feeling. My goal is to understand you better and begin to formulate a plan that works for you. We’ll discuss different treatment options, whether that involves therapy, medication, or a combination of both, but the key is that it will always be a collaborative process where your input is valued. It’s very much a partnership between us, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.”

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe one of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to listen attentively and with empathy. I understand that seeking help with mental health can feel vulnerable, so I make it a priority to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and experiences. It’s not just about treating the symptoms, but really understanding the person as a whole—their values, experiences, and goals. Another strength is my flexibility in treatment approaches. Mental health is complex and unique to each person, so I tailor my treatment plans to fit the individual. I’m committed to finding the most effective approach for you. I also try to empower my patients to be active participants in their care, so we’re always working together as a team. Finally, I’m passionate about staying current with the latest research and developments in psychiatry. Mental health treatments continue to evolve, and I make it a point to integrate new knowledge and evidence-based practices into my work, so my patients are receiving the best care possible.”

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have worked with clients of all age ranges and complex diagnosis. I'm particularly passionate about helping those who suffer from anxiety, OCD, depression, and ADHD. Although these are the most most common diagnosis I see in my practice, they can also be the most complex. I understand that each client can experience vastly different symptoms and I enjoy working with my clients to navigate through their own personal mental health journey.
