I’m a therapist who believes that meaningful change begins with feeling seen, understood, and supported. My approach is client-centered and flexible, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet you where you are and support you in a way that feels both safe and empowering. I work with individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating anxiety, life transitions, or emotional challenges. Together, we create space to process difficult emotions, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and build practical tools to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. I especially enjoy working with individuals in the perinatal and postpartum periods, as well as those navigating reproductive concerns. I also support healthcare workers and first responders who are carrying high levels of stress, responsibility, and emotional burden. With a background in healthcare, I bring an added level of understanding to the unique pressures and experiences that can impact both mental and emotional well-being. I value openness, collaboration, and growth. I work best with clients who are willing to explore themselves more deeply, are open to feedback, and have a desire to become the best version of themselves, even if they’re not quite sure what that looks like yet. My goal is to provide a space where you feel supported, challenged in a meaningful way, and empowered to create lasting, positive change in your life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is all about getting to know you and beginning to understand what brings you to therapy. We’ll start by reviewing any necessary paperwork, including confidentiality, your rights as a client, and what to expect from the therapy process. From there, I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. We may also explore relevant background information such as your mental health history, relationships, work or family life, and any significant past experiences that feel important to share. This session is not about having everything figured out, it’s simply a starting point. You can share at your own pace, and there’s no pressure to go deeper than you feel comfortable. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and what you would like support with moving forward. I’ll also answer any questions you may have and make sure you feel comfortable with the process. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of how we’ll work together and whether the fit feels right for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out in my therapeutic approach is my ability to balance warmth, insight, and practical change. I use an eclectic, client-centered approach, intentionally drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities to meet each client’s unique needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I prioritize meeting clients where they are while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Clients often find that our work goes beyond surface-level conversation, we focus on identifying underlying patterns, increasing self-awareness, and building skills that can be applied in everyday life. I also bring a unique perspective through my background in healthcare, which allows me to better understand the connection between physical and emotional well-being. This is especially valuable for clients navigating perinatal and postpartum experiences, reproductive concerns, or those working in high-stress roles like healthcare and first response. In terms of results, clients often report feeling more emotionally regulated, more confident in setting boundaries, and more equipped to navigate relationships and life transitions. They gain a deeper understanding of themselves and leave with tangible tools to create meaningful, lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals who are motivated for growth but may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, life transitions, or emotional overwhelm and are looking for a space to safely process difficult emotions and better understand themselves. I work especially well with clients who are open to feedback and willing to explore patterns in their thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. Together, we identify what may be keeping them stuck while building insight, emotional awareness, and practical tools for change. My approach is rooted in meeting clients where they are at and supporting them at a pace that feels both safe and empowering. I have a particular focus on supporting individuals in the perinatal and postpartum periods who may be adjusting to new roles, experiencing mood changes, or navigating the complexities of parenthood. I also work with healthcare workers and first responders who often carry high levels of stress and responsibility and may struggle to prioritize their own needs. Overall, I am best suited for clients who want to deepen self-understanding, process challenging emotions, and become the best version of themselves while creating meaningful, lasting change.
